Choreographer's Trust Residencies

Using one of the dance works featured in The Choreographer’s Trust, Peggy Baker Dance Projects can tailor residencies for high schools and post-secondary institutions. Peggy Baker, and members of Peggy’s ensemble can lead daily technique classes, repertoire, and coaching sessions, as well as stage student performances of the work/s. Public performances by the company and other art enrichment activities can be combined during the company’s visit to create a multi-faceted experience for students and general public audiences.

The performance went fabulously. The three girls did a great job of your piece. People were very impressed with their artistic maturity. I was particularly pleased that each of them made it “their own”. They danced technically well, but more importantly they danced with heart and soul, and I think that is more important than anything else.

I just wanted to thank you for giving us the opportunity of dancing [Unfold], such a beautiful piece of art. We all put our souls into this unique and extraordinary process. Thanks for all your energy and time, it really meant a lot to every single one of us. The experience was incredible and it changed me as a dancer, as an artist, as a human.

We have just finished our season with a series of really great shows. Brute was a clear highlight in our performances and Charles was the star! I believe learning and performing Brute was an amazing learning experience for Charles, one he will keep with him always…Thank you again for your remarkable generosity. It was such a pleasure to have you around , you are an inspiration to all of us.

I love the way your choreography feels organic and natural, and the way it looks both exciting and controlled.
